It's slightly earlier this year than expected, but harbor seal pupping season has begun! The seals nurse their pups and haul out on these out coves, such as Children's Pool, seen here, during late Winter into Spring. Hauling out is crucial not only for nursing pups, but for resting, molting, and maintaining a healthy immune system and metabolism.
