Winter Heat Wave At Hike Bike Kayak!

January is bringing some record high temperatures here on the coast at Hike Bike Kayak. During the daytime, the temp hasn't dropped below 70°, and this week it hit up to 80°! The heat wave is due to a high pressure ridge which causes air to sink towards earth's surface, trapping the warmer air in our atmosphere.
